How much does it cost to tour the Vatican?
The cost of a ticket to the Vatican Museums is 17€ per adults over the age of 18 and 8€ for student card holders between the ages of 18 and 25 and children between the age of 6 and 18 (children under the age of 6 are free). And if you want to book in advance, there is an extra booking fee of 4€. However, this is the flat cost of the ticket only and not a guided tour, in which there several offerings and price ranges to choose from.

It usually takes about 2.5 – 3.5 hours to tour the main points of the Vatican Museums, not factoring in the waiting times.

Your meeting point is inside the Enjoy Rome office – located on Via Germanico 8 (take Metro Line A to the OTTAVIANO stop). Please arrive 25 minutes before the start of your tour to check-in with a member of our staff.

Please note- the meeting point is inside of our office. But for security reasons, we are not able to store any personal belongings at our office – so please plan accordingly.

Please note - the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round. All visitors must have shoulders covered and pants/skirts must come to the knee. And make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

The Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica has strict security restrictions. Due to metal detectors at the entrance of most attractions it is forbidden to bring the following:

Weapons and blunt objects (knives, long umbrellas, etc.)
Glass bottles, aerosol sprays, and alcohol
Bicycles, skates, and segways
Luggage
Pets

Large bags and selfie sticks are not allowed in the Vatican. There is a free Vatican cloakroom service once you have gone through the metal detectors.

Great tour

Marco is very KNOWLEDGEABLE and charismatic. Even though the tour was for 2hrs only he had provided a lot of information with good interaction and easy to understand. Highly recomend!

Causa Covid abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poter visitare questi stupendi musei senza troppo affollamento e grazie a Laura, una guida davvero molto preparata, appassionata e simpatica che ci ha fatto apprezzare ancora di più il tour. Die Führung von Frau Tamiolaki war sehr kurzweilig, unterhaltsam und informativ. Sie scheint das Thema ihrer Tour wirklich zu leben.
