SHARE
Discover the home of Catholicism on a skip-the-line, VIP tour of the Vatican’s most iconic sites. Explore the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica with an expert guide and a small group for a more intimate, more enriching, and more memorable experience of Vatican City.

itinerary

  1. Bypass the swathes of groups queuing outside the Vatican Museums as your guide takes your small group of up to 10 people straight inside. Hear every word of your guide’s explanations of the treasures in the papal collection that span over 2000 years of artistic endeavour. Enjoy a more personal experience in the close-knit atmosphere, with your guide on hand to answer any questions during your trip. Discover the Museums’ most famous pieces by Raphael, Caravaggio, da Vinci and many more, whilst also visiting the lesser-known wonders that larger groups often miss.
  2. Then, enter into Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel and marvel at one of the most stunning creations of the Renaissance. Understand the scale of the challenge Michelangelo undertook here as you gaze at his stunning frescoes covering the ceiling and walls. Appreciate the extent of his achievement, equipped with your guide’s insight on Michelangelo’s lasting legacy for the trajectory of Western art.
  3. Complete your trip at St. Peter’s Basilica, entering through a special passage only for guided groups. Be awed by the sheer size and grandeur of one of the holiest churches in Christianity, believed to be built above St. Peter’s remains. Admire its impressive artistic features, from Michelangelo’s ‘La Pietà’ to Bernini’s high altar canopy, along with the intricate mosaics and statues adorning the walls of this magnificent site.
