Highlights
  • Colosseum

We begin this magical walking tour of Rome at sunset. First passed the majestic Colosseum and then around the Ancient Roman Forum – a valley which rests between the Palatine Hill and Capitoline Hill. The Forum signified the political, religious and commercial center of the city and it is here, lying between glorious temples and arches that Julius Caesar’s body lays in an altar which can still be visited today.

Q&A
  • What to do in Rome at night?

There is plenty to do in Rome at night. You can do as the locals do and wander about by foot before or after dinner. Rome is an open-air museum that comes alive and becomes even more magical at night. That being said, an evening walking tour in Rome is the perfect way to explore the top sights.
  • Is the Colosseum lit up at night?

Yes! The Colosseum is even more glorious all lit up at night, as are most of the main monuments, squares, and fountains. All the more reason to discover the magic and beauty of Rome by night.
  • Can you see Rome in 3 days?

While you’ll be able to see the main tourist attractions such as the Vatican, Colosseum and the top squares and fountains in the historic center in 3 days, we really recommend that you stay longer in Rome if you can. There is an entire world to explore! Rome is an ancient city with many layers – literally. And as many Roman locals claim, you can live a lifetime in Rome and barely scratch the surface.

Favorite tour!
Our three hour night tour of Rome was fantastic and our guide, Clara, was the reason for it! She was energetic, fun, and so knowledgable about the history of what we were seeing. We learned so much, she really brought the history to life, and entertained us at the same time! So glad we did this tour!

A knowledgeable friendly guide!
A great walk through Rome with a couple of short stops for a bit of free time. Opportunity to visit inside the Panthenon plus another beautiful church. The fountains were lovely to see. The outdoor archaeological feast was all well explained. Felix was a great guide and it was great to only have one other very pleasant couple with us so there was no hanging around. A good way to start our trip to Rome.
