The National Gallery of Ancient Art is situated in the Rione Barberini. After that the Collection of Prince Corsini expanded with other collections like Torlonia, Chigi, Hertz, Monte di Pietà and others, in 1893 the National Gallery of Ancient Art was officially born.
Inside the Gallery you can find the most important works of the XVI century, like the “Fornarina” realized by Raffaello, other paintings by Tiziano and Caravaggio.
