By bus and by foot, our guided tour will take you beyond the city walls: through the ancient tunnels of Rome’s catacombs, along the rustic Appian Way, and under the arches of the aqueducts of antiquity. Enjoy a three hour tour that provides a unique perspective on ancient Rome, in an environment that you have never seen in the city center.
Our bus will take you from the start of the Appian Way, and continue to the southern edge of ancient Rome. With our tourguide, you will make three stops along the way, giving you an opportunity to walk the ancient Roman countryside, explore the underground catacombs, and examine the masterful structure of Rome’s remaining aqueducts.
You can book by giving us your credit card details as a guarantee but the amount stated on the reservation will be paid in cash only to the tour guide.
Cancellation policy: No penalty for cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance. After this term the full amount of the reservation will be charged on the credit card. Your credit card will only be charged if you do not honour your booking.
Tour price of Euro 50,00 per person (Starting from April the price is Euro 55,00 per person) includes a bus ride, guide and admission fee for the catacombs. The tour price will be paid in cash in the beginning of the tour. This tour runs with a minimum of six people.
Please note that starting from April we will run this tour every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10AM.
