You will be given all the arts and facts of the Pinacoteca Gallery, created for Pope Pius XI which the collection contains some masterpieces of the greatest artists of the history of Italian painting, from Giotto to Beato Angelico, from Melozzo da Forlì to Perugino and to Raphael, from Leonardo to Tiziano, to Veronese, to Caravaggio and to Crespi.
Then guided inside the Chiaramonti Museum. Founded by Pius VII Chiaramonti for a collection of Roman busts and statues. There are about a thousand sculptures, including portraits of Emperors and gods, several fragments, friezes and relieves of sarcophagi.
Moving to the most famous Chapel in the world, the Sistine Chapel. Named after his commissioner, Sixtus IV della Rovere (1471-1484), who decided to have a large room built where the “Cappella Magna” once stood. Today, the chapel is visited by millions tourists coming from around the globe. One of the most impressive space with masterpieces created from the masters Michelangelo, Perugino, Botticelli and many more artists of the 1400.
