The walking portion of the tour starts with the Trevi Fountain. After passing the Piazza Colonna, site of the Column of Marcus Aurelius, Montecitorio, the location of the Chamber of Deputies, a visit is paid to the Pantheon, intended by Emperor Hadrian to have the biggest dome in the world. Piazza Navona, located at the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian, is also the location of Gian Lorenzo Bernini's masterpiece, the Fountain of the Four Rivers.
