Itinerary

The tour leaves Rome and heads north through three of the most beautiful regions in Italy: Latium, Umbria, and Tuscany. We arrive in Florence at about 11:30am and go to the Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the famous view of the city. Going over the Ponte Vecchio, we continue to the historical center. After some leisure time, we have lunch at a local restaurant, and the tour continues on foot. We visit Piazza Santa Croce and the eponymous church, where Michelangelo and Galileo are buried. After a visit to a leather factory, we visit the Accademia, with Michelangelo's famous David. The walkincludes the Santa Croca church (the Duomo, with its dome by Brunelleschi), the Baptistry, and Giotto's Belltower. We leave for Rome at around 5:00pm, and arrive at about 9:00pm.

Schedule

Daily except Monday and Wednesday; Nov. 16th to Feb 28th: Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday. Hotel pick-ups from 6:30m to 7:00am; the bus departs the Vastours terminal at 7:15am and returns to Rome at 9pm.
