The Gallery of Doria Pamphilij is situated in the heart of the Palazzo Doria Pamhilij between the Via del Corso and Via della Gatta. The principal entrance is on the Via del Corso.
The palace facade is adjacent to the church of Santa Maria in Via Lata. Like the palace, it is still privately owned by the princely Roman family Doria Pamphilj.
The large collection of paintings, furniture and statuary has been assembled since the 16th century by the Doria, Pamphilj, Landi and Aldobrandini families. Inside the Gallery you can find the most important works of the Italian artists of world renown such as Caravaggio, Tiziano, and Raffaello and you will also find many Flemish Old Masters from the baroque era, true feathers in the collection’s cap.
