Crossing the Aurelian Walls and the Villa Borghese public park, we arrive at the Vatican Museums. Among the myriad attractions of the Museums are the Pio-Clementino Halls, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestry Gallery and the beautiful antique maps in the Maps Gallery, and at the end the famous Sistine Chapel, where Popes are elected. Michelangelo's Last Judgment and Creation of the World have been recently restored, and are now displayed in their original luminous splendor.
Lunch.
Crossing the Quirinal Square with the presidential palace, we arrive at Piazza Venezia, with the Monument to Victor Emanuel II, the "Vittoriano."
The tour continues on foot to the Capitoline Hill where we can admire the view over the Roman Forum. Next stop will be the Colosseum (interior visit). Then we will proceed by bus to the Basilica St. Paul's-outside-the-walls (interior visit).
At the end of the tour return back to the hotels and Vastour's bus terminal.

There is a dress code for this tour: knees and shoulders must be covered and men must wear full-length trousers.
